Strawman, anyone? Let's stop the witch hunting.

Of course, the media deserves to be burned at the stake for their unholy presentation of all things scientific :P

I just subscribed to your blog, and look forward to rummaging through your archives. I should probably say it's all your own fault for raising my expectations with all the other great critical stuff you write...

Now I just have to learn to not go so overboard! Then again, the bad boys I've known would probably encourage me in entirely the other direction. In any case, it's true that Fairchild et al. do mention the social side as you point out. So there's room for interpretation on both sides.

I look forward to reading what comes next here.

Daniel @ NeuroanthropologyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21605329.post-1864339233798120952008-10-12T21:18:00.000-07:002008-10-12T21:18:00.000-07:00The study indicates that people without conduct di...The study indicates that people without conduct disorder have a significantly greater increase in heart rate when placed under stress than do people with conduct disorder (CD). This suggests a less painful negative feedback from stress for people with CD. Less pain = less effort to avoid being the cause of problems. Socially this can be demonstrated as I did in childhood by beating the crap out of bullies. All they need is enough negative feedback to teach them the errors of their ways.Nerissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08188786959596205027noreply@blogger.com
