The wacko who deserves the very least exposure shall go unnamed here, but Dan Savage writes about him in The Stranger:

Falwell in Hell. The Neurocritichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08010555869208208621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21605329.post-78950868196580090872007-05-18T17:37:00.000-07:002007-05-18T17:37:00.000-07:00I wonder if he celebrated Christmas - a pagan holi...I wonder if he celebrated Christmas - a pagan holiday.

Clearly someone will miss him. And he did do us the favour of alerting us to the views of a 'majority' of people with views different to (hopefully) the Majority.

I always prefer radical nutters to have the right to voice their opinions (like the Islamic nutter who heads up a mosque in Sydney) so we know who the nutters are. "Watch out for him!" But I do feel that sometimes these people get too much Press. It's like re-inforcement of naughty behaviour in children. Sometimes some passive acknowledgement is important so we know what's going on, but splashing it over the front page is probably counter-productive.

JulianAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
